Leah Haimowitz, General Manager

I originally came out West from Boston to pursue a career in entertainment, but my innate love for food drew me to the restaurant business. This love for food actually runs deep in my family – my uncle was a chef, and my grandfather and great grandfather ran their own restaurants in New York City. It all started when I worked at Osteria Mozza and Pizzeria Mozza, and opened Mozza2Go. After Mozza, I served as General Manager for Mendocino Farms. The knowledge I gained at Mozza combined with the business savvy and guest relations experience I developed at Mendocino really taught me how to recreate some of the same experiences for guests that I felt at my family dining table while growing up.

Since joining the Spice Table, I’ve had the privilege of reuniting with Chef Bryant. I am inspired every day by his creativity and love of food, and by the loyalty and professionalism of our kitchen and service teams. Mostly, I am inspired by our guests, people from just about all walks of life come to the Spice Table, and we love each and every one of them!
